I have never been good at studying anatomy. In fact, I've been down right awful at it, always putting it off to a later date convincing myself that I will learn in the summer when I have more time, or when I go off to college, as if it will be easier or less time consuming when that time comes. The truth is, I have to suck it up and force myself to do it. Hopefully with this blog I can document my progress, and motivate myself to work hard at it.

Day 1

This is the number one post, if you can't tell. From now on, my goal is to do some amount of anatomy study every day. I am starting with arms because I decided to start with arms. Right now, I am thinking I will stick with that for about a month then move onto something else, maybe the torso. I don't know. We shall see how that goes over. For those of you who are actually reading this, possibly rooting for me, sympathising, or hopefully getting inspired to do something similar, thank you, and good luck. For those of you who actually know your anatomy, and think I am going about this all wrong please speak up. I hope that you can give me some amount of knowledge however big or small it may be. Now, on to the goodies. I am really just starting out, so nothing too fancy yet. Two pages from my sketchbook today. I am working out of Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Anatomy and Atlas of Human Anatomy for the artist. Lastly, as a sort of last minute thought, if anyone is doing something similar, or something mildly related, give me a shout.
